A photofacial, a peel, and CO₂ do different jobs. Most people need a plan in the right order — not one treatment sold as the answer to everything. This page lists what we offer. The consult decides what you actually need first.

Candela GentleMax Pro · 755 nm Alexandrite + 1064 nm Nd:YAG
This is not IPL or BBL. We use a Candela laser with two specific wavelengths so we can target brown pigment and red vessels more precisely, including on the neck, chest, hands, and body.
| Area | What we are usually correcting | What improvement looks like |
|---|---|---|
| Face | Solar lentigines, freckling, blotchy cheeks, residual acne marks, background redness, broken capillaries around nose and cheeks, early dullness. | Spots darken, then flake or fade. Redness looks quieter. Makeup goes on more evenly. Usually a series of 3–5. |
| Neck | Horizontal sun banding, scattered brown, redness that stops at the jaw, crepey sun texture that photofacials improve only in tone (texture may need CoolPeel). | The brown banding fades. The neck starts to match the face and chest better. |
| Chest / décolleté | Poikiloderma (brown + red lace), sun freckling from years of necklines, heat and vessel flush from exercise or rosacea. | One of the most satisfying areas. Chest often needs both wavelengths and later a CoolPeel if the skin is also crepey. |
| Hands & arms | Age spots, uneven color on the forearms, sun on the shoulders and hands. | Spots crust and lift. Hands look closer in age to the face after a series. |
| Body | Shoulders, back, décolleté continuation, legs with solar lentigines, post-inflammatory marks that are truly pigment (not texture). | Large-field work is planned in zones so heat stays controlled. Body pigment is slower than facial pigment — we set that expectation up front. |
| Spot lesions | Cherry angiomas, isolated sunspots, small vascular marks. | Often a short, targeted pass rather than a full-field photofacial. |
Photofacials do not replace a peel or CO₂ when the problem is thickness, etched lines, or dermal melasma. They are the precision tool for color — brown, red, or both.
Cartessa Tetra Pro CO₂ · CoolPeel® through deep resurfacing
Same laser. Different settings. CoolPeel is a light CO₂ peel with little downtime. Stronger settings go deeper for scars, etched lines, and crepey skin — and they need real recovery time. We do not pick the depth off a price list.
Light
Most people are red for a day or two. Helps pores, fine lines, rough sun texture, dullness, light pigment, and early crepey skin.
Usually done as a series of three.
Moderate
Better for deeper lines, acne scars, heavier sun damage, and looser texture. One or two stronger treatments can do more than a long string of light peels.
Deep
Only after a consult. We look at skin type, medications, cold-sore history, and how much downtime you can take. Quoted in person. Not a walk-in treatment.
| Area | CoolPeel typically addresses | Moderate → deep CO₂ typically addresses |
|---|---|---|
| Full face | Enlarged pores, makeup catching in texture, fine lines, early crepe around eyes and mouth, sun grain, dull tone, mild actinic roughness. | Etched smile and frown lines, rolling or boxcar acne scars, deeper photoaging, more significant dyschromia that survived peels and photofacials, early jowl texture. |
| Eyelids / under-eye | Crepey lid skin, fine crêpe, makeup creasing. | More advanced lid laxity and etched lines when surgery is not the first choice. Mapped carefully because eyelid skin is thin. |
| Neck | Tech-neck lines, crepey skin, sun roughness. | Deeper lines and loose crepey skin a photofacial will not tighten. Often paired with Matrix RF. |
| Chest | Rough sun texture, mild crepey skin, leftover pigment after photofacials. | Heavier sun damage and deeper wrinkling that is still there after the color has faded. |
| Hands | Crepe and sun grain once spots are fading. | Thinner, more damaged dorsal hands that need collagen, not just spot removal. |
| Arms | Crepey triceps and inner arm, sun on extensor surfaces, rough grain. | Post-weight-change crepe, more advanced lax texture. Often stacked with Emsculpt NEO if the arm also lacks muscle tone. |
| Abdomen | Mild crepe, sun, C-section or stretch texture that is still superficial. | Stretch marks, surgical scars, post-pregnancy or post-weight-loss quality. Skin tightening here is collagen work — Emsculpt NEO handles the muscle underneath. |
| Above-knee / thighs / hips | Crepe that shows in shorts, sun, early stretch texture. | Established stretch marks and looser skin quality after weight change. |
| Back / shoulders / other body | Sun damage, roughness, acne texture that is more surface than scar. | Deeper acne scarring on the back, surgical scars, significant photodamage fields. |
CO₂ can also treat some actinic keratoses (precancerous sun spots). Deep settings depend on your skin type, medications, cold-sore history, time of year, and how much downtime you can take.
Layered pigment plans
Melasma is not a sunspot. If you treat it like one, it often comes back darker. We use Pico, peels, and medical-grade skincare together — and we talk through heat, hormones, and sun, because those are usually what bring it back.
VI Peel medical-grade system
VI Peels are medical-grade and safe for most skin tones when the right formula is chosen. Expect peeling for about 5–7 days. Used on their own, with a facial, or between laser visits.
Brightening and pigment. Melasma, sun spots, post-acne marks, uneven tone.
Acne, oil, congestion, breakout-prone skin, the aftermath of cysts.
Firming and anti-aging emphasis — fine lines, early laxity, dull mature skin.
Chest, arms, back, and other body fields: sun, PIH, roughness, body acne marks.
Shape + skin quality
Emsculpt NEO builds muscle and reduces fat. It does not fix crepey or sun-damaged skin. For that we use Matrix RF, CoolPeel, or CO₂. Most body plans need both.
HIFEM+ and radiofrequency
The only FDA-cleared treatment that builds muscle and reduces stubborn fat in the same ~30-minute session. No needles. No downtime. Not a weight-loss program and not a substitute for training.
Skin quality
*Individual results vary. Device literature and published studies describe average outcomes; your consult sets a realistic range for your body.
Collagen remodeling
Radiofrequency through fine needles. Used for acne scars, pores, wrinkles, jawline and neck firmness, and crepey body skin. Often paired with CoolPeel — RF works deeper, CO₂ smooths the surface.
Your own blood is used to make PRP or PRF, then applied during microneedling. Helps texture, scars, dullness, and thinning hair. PRF is a thicker version of the same idea.
No-downtime heat for redness, residual acne redness, early collagen, pore refinement, and glow. Often stacked with a corrective facial the same visit.
Advanced Laser & Skin Center
These facials are treatments. We extract, prep skin for laser, or treat acne and congestion — not a long massage with a mask at the end.
Enzyme facials are done in the Laser Center. They clear congestion and dull buildup without the downtime of a peel. A good option if your barrier is irritated, you are not ready for laser that day, or you need real exfoliation without stirring up pigment.
Small keratin cysts — the firm white or yellow dots that will not squeeze at home and should not be picked. Common around eyes and cheeks. We open them properly (lancet or electric needle) and extract cleanly. Milia are addressed during facials whenever they are present; standalone removal is available when that is the only concern.
Enlarged oil-gland bumps, usually on the forehead, cheeks, or around the nose. Treated with electrocautery, high-frequency, laser, or skilled manual work — chosen so we flatten the bump without carving a dent or staining the skin. Home extraction here is how scars and pigment happen.
The SPA at Expert Skin Solutions
Same building, quieter room. HydraFacials and lash/brow services with no downtime. Easy to keep up between laser appointments.
Face only. Vortex cleanse, extract, infuse, finishing products. The reset for congestion, dullness, or an event week.
Face, neck, and décolletage. Signature steps plus booster, Hydrojelly mask, and LED.
Full experience: lymphatic drainage, massage, and hand treatment on top of Deluxe.
Face, neck, décolletage. Brightening and hydration without the actives we bench during pregnancy.
Removes peach fuzz and the dull top layer so serums absorb better and makeup looks smoother.
Lash lift and tint. Brow lamination, tint, and shape. Combo eye refresh that lasts about 6–8 weeks.
Also under this roof
Candela GentleMax Pro with two wavelengths and cooling. Settings change with skin tone, hair type, and body area — from small facial zones to full body.
PicoWay breaks ink into smaller particles so your body can clear it. Safe for more skin tones than older lasers. Color tattoos and cover-ups usually need more sessions.
Scalp microneedling with PRP or PRF, LED, and Obagi Nu-Cil support for lashes, brows, and scalp when the goal is density rather than removal.
NEXA imaging shows UV damage, pigment, redness, and pores you cannot see in a regular mirror. Home care is ZO, Revision, Epionce, and Obagi — chosen to protect your in-office results.
How to start
We scan the skin with NEXA, go through your history and products, and talk through downtime. If you book a treatment or buy products the same day, the consult fee is applied toward that. Pricing is quoted for your plan. We do not post package prices as if they fit everyone.
Quick answers
If pigment, melasma, scars, or body contouring is the main reason you are coming, book a consultation in the Laser Center. A HydraFacial can still be part of the plan. It is rarely the whole plan.
Sometimes, but not automatically in the same visit. It depends on your skin tone and whether we are treating brown spots, redness, or texture. That gets decided in consult.
No. Same laser, different settings and recovery. CoolPeel is a light resurfacing peel. Deep CO₂ is a stronger treatment and needs more healing time. We will not quote deep CO₂ without seeing your skin.
Yes. The device changes with your skin tone. Pico, Nd:YAG, Matrix RF, and certain peels are often the safer choice when Alexandrite or strong CO₂ is not. We would rather switch treatments than cause rebound pigment.
